IVF cost at GI Rimon: transparent prices for foreign patients

Our IVF programs are priced in euros and published in full. The basic program covers the medical consultation, hormonal monitoring, egg retrieval, fertilization by ICSI in our laboratory and the first embryo transfer; the comprehensive program also covers the medication and the tests required before stimulation. Each price may vary by up to 10% depending on the medical case.

Every program includes one transfer; each additional transfer costs €1,500. Genetic screening of the embryos (PGD/PGT with NGS) costs €500.

IVF programs with your own eggs

Our programs with your own eggs start at €4,000 for IVF with ICSI without medication and pre-stimulation workup, and €7,500 with them. The program includes ovarian stimulation under our monitoring, retrieval, fertilization in the laboratory and transfer.

After fertilization we culture them to the blastocyst stage, and the basic price covers one transfer. If needed, we perform PGT (PGD, €500) to identify a genetic disease before the transfer — important for couples with a hereditary condition in the family. The treatment usually takes two to three months, and a second transfer costs €1,500.

IVF programs with donor eggs and donor sperm

For couples with complex infertility we offer programs with donated oocytes and donor sperm: €6,000 with a fresh egg donor, €7,000 with ten frozen donated oocytes, €5,000 with donor sperm and €8,000 with four frozen donor embryos, without medication and workup. These programs are the right option when the woman’s own eggs no longer allow fertilization or when sperm donation is medically indicated.

All programs use ICSI, and development is monitored in our laboratory. Our egg donors are women aged 18–33 with confirmed health, screened at the clinic; how the donor is chosen is explained on the egg donation page, and our sperm bank is described separately.

Surrogacy

Surrogacy services at GI Rimon clinic in Georgia

For patients who cannot carry a pregnancy we offer complete surrogacy programs, from €50,000 with your own frozen embryos to €65,000 for the guaranteed program with donor eggs. We act as a surrogacy center in Georgia and provide medical care throughout the pregnancy: the program includes IVF with ICSI, up to three transfers, medical supervision of the surrogate mother, screening and monitoring.

Surrogacy in Georgia is available only to heterosexual couples who are married or have lived together for at least one year. For single men, single women and same-sex couples we offer surrogacy through our branch in Armenia, from €62,000. Our programs cover every step of a treatment cycle: the initial medical consultation, fertility workup, controlled ovarian stimulation, retrieval and ICSI.

After fertilization the embryos grow in our embryology laboratory to the blastocyst stage. The basic program includes one transfer; medication is not part of the €4,000 price. Our medical team and standards

Our team at GI Rimon consists of experienced Georgian reproductive specialists, supported by Israeli medical consultants. Every woman is treated by more than one doctor: a fertility gynecologist, an embryologist and an Israeli consultant. We work to the recommendations of ESHRE (the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) and the regulations of the Georgian Ministry of Health, and our team specializes in complex cases, including donation and surrogacy.

High Israeli standards apply at every step of treatment, from the initial workup to the transfer. Our doctors take part in continuous training and update their practice to international guidelines. We do not publish a single success rate, because the chance of pregnancy depends on age, the cause of infertility and the medical case — at the consultation we tell you what is realistic in your situation. Dr. Irina Nikuradze

Dr. Irina Nikuradze graduated in 1993 from the Izhevsk State Medical Institute, Faculty of General Medicine. She completed her sub-internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same institute and holds state certifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine, and Oncogynecology.

Since 1999, Dr. Nikuradze has served as a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi and BAU International University.

Beginning in 1996, she worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in several leading clinics in Batumi. She has completed extensive international and national training in the fields of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine, and Oncogynecology, and actively participates in annual scientific conferences as both a speaker and attendee. She is also a co-author of several scientific publications.

Dr. Nikuradze has many years of professional experience in obstetrics, as well as in both conservative and surgical gynecology. She is highly skilled in performing a wide range of gynecological surgeries, including endoscopic procedures such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.

Since 2021, she has been involved in the national cervical cancer screening program, with expertise in colposcopy and comprehensive cervical surgical procedures.

She also has significant experience in the conservative management of gynecological conditions affecting women across all life stages—including prepubescent, pubertal, reproductive, and perimenopausal periods.

Her special areas of interest include: Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART); Conservative and surgical treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence; Innovative and alternative treatment methods; Aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of female external genitalia; Use of laser therapy in treating infertility caused by endometrial pathologies

Before the cycle

Fertility testing before IVF at our clinic

Before treatment we perform a workup for both partners that helps us plan the program. The basic hormone panel includes FSH, LH, AMH and estradiol on day two to four of the cycle; the results let us assess the ovarian reserve and the woman’s chances of pregnancy, and plan the stimulation protocol. The man has a semen analysis.

Part of the workup required before IVF in Georgia can be done in your home country, and we accept the results in advance. This shortens the waiting time: you arrive at the clinic with the first stage already completed. Alongside the blood panel we perform an ultrasound of the ovaries and uterus according to the treatment plan; other examinations are added only when the case requires them. The laboratory

Embryo laboratory and advanced embryology services

Our embryology laboratory at GI Rimon is equipped for culture and vitrification. The lab works to ESHRE standards, with quality control systems and controlled conditions, and serves both types of our programs — with your own oocytes and with donated ones.

During treatment the embryos develop in our laboratory under controlled conditions to the blastocyst stage. ICSI, in which a single sperm cell is injected directly into the oocyte, is performed by our embryologists, who monitor the development until the transfer. Dr. Pavel Itsikson
Dr. Itsikson earned a B.Sc. in Biology from Bar-Ilan University, Faculty of Life Sciences, in Ramat Gan, Israel (1993–1997).

He continued his academic journey with M.Sc. studies in Clinical Embryology at the same faculty (1997–2000), where he conducted research and wrote a thesis titled: “Natural antioxidant (NAO) and ROS influence on mammalian spermatozoa.”

From 2001 to 2010, he pursued his Ph.D. at the Goldyne Savad Institute of Gene Therapy, Hadassah University Hospital, affiliated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His doctoral thesis focused on: “Neural specification of human embryonic stem cells.”

He began his professional career in 1999 as a clinical embryologist at the IVF Unit, Barzilay Medical Center in Ashkelon, Israel. Between 2001 and 2005, he also worked as a locum embryologist at the Israeli Fertility Center in Rishon Lezion, where he was later appointed IVF Lab Director (2005–2008).

From 2008 to 2024, he led the IVF laboratory at Assuta Medical Center, one of Israel’s most renowned clinics. In 2024, he transitioned to the Medica Elisha Hospital in Haifa, where he currently serves as a Senior Embryologist.

He is fluent in English, Russian, Hebrew, and Ukrainian, and is widely recognized in the field for his contributions to embryology and reproductive medicine.

His academic work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, with a focus on embryonic stem cells, neural development, sperm morphology, and advancements in fertility technologies.

He is a co-author of landmark studies including: Neural progenitors from human embryonic stem cells (Nat. Biotechnol., 2001); Stable genetic modification of hESCs by lentiviral vectors (Mol. Ther, 2003); Derivation of neural precursors in the presence of noggin (Mol Cell Neurosci, 2005); Neural differentiation of human ES cells (Curr Protoc Cell Biol, 2007); The role of FGF-signaling in early neural specification of hESCs (Dev Biol, 2010); A novel solution for freezing small numbers of spermatozoa (Hum Reprod, 2018).

In addition to his clinical work, he remains actively engaged in scientific research, contributing to innovation in the fields of reproductive biology and embryonic development.

Dr. Armine Sayadyan

Dr. Armine, Obstetrician-Gynecologist & Reproductologist, holds a Doctorate in Medicine and has over 12 years of clinical and academic experience in the field of women’s health, infertility treatment, and assisted reproductive technologies (ART).

She earned her M.D. in General Medicine and completed her clinical internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Yerevan State Medical University and the National Healthcare Institute of Armenia. She continued her academic journey as a PhD candidate at the same university, where she defended her doctoral thesis on “Specific Features of IVF Programs in Women with Diminished Ovarian Reserve of Different Genesis.”

Her research introduced several scientific innovations, including the evaluation of ovarian reserve markers, the study of folliculo-oogenesis characteristics, and the identification of autoimmune factors affecting IVF outcomes. She also developed a practical algorithm for managing IVF programs in women with low ovarian reserve.

Dr. Armine Sayadyan has worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist and reproductologist in leading medical centers in Armenia and Georgia, including the IVF LIFE Reproductive Center, Clinic New-Med, and CITO Medical Center. Since 2013, she has served as a lecturer and later a senior lecturer at the Yerevan State Medical University’s Postgraduate and Continuing Education Faculty, teaching future generations of medical professionals in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She is actively engaged in training programs and public health initiatives. As a national trainer for HPV vaccination and a medical consultant for electronic health education programs, she plays a key role in improving maternal and reproductive health awareness across the region.

Dr. Armine has authored numerous scientific articles published in international journals and conference proceedings, focusing on IVF success factors, age-related infertility, and ovarian dysfunction. Her academic work is widely referenced in reproductive medicine across the Caucasus region.

She has completed dozens of certifications and advanced training courses across Europe and Russia in the areas of IVF, embryology, fertility preservation, and diagnostic sonography. She regularly participates in international congresses, including the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).

Fluent in Armenian, English, and Russian, she is recognized for her patient-centered approach, academic excellence, and commitment to advancing reproductive healthcare in Armenia and beyond.

The process

The treatment process at GI Rimon: step by step

A cycle at our clinic starts with a medical consultation and follows a clear plan up to the transfer. We coordinate every step in advance, and the first transfer usually takes place within three months of the start of the process.

The first step is the consultation and workup; then ovarian stimulation begins, which lasts about two weeks under our medical supervision. Retrieval follows — a short procedure of 20–30 minutes under light anesthesia. The sperm is collected the same day, and the oocytes are fertilized in our laboratory by ICSI.

The embryos continue to develop in the laboratory to the blastocyst stage. Then the first transfer takes place, which is included in the basic price. If necessary, PGT can be performed or an additional transfer arranged according to the treatment plan. How much does IVF cost at GI Rimon?

Our IVF programs with ICSI start at €4,000 without hormonal medication and pre-stimulation tests, and €7,500 with them. How long does the process take?

The process starts with tests and preparation, and the treatment itself takes about a month. The first transfer usually takes place within three months of the start of treatment, and the chance of pregnancy depends mainly on the woman’s age. The duration may vary with the chosen program and medical needs.

Can part of the workup be done in my home country?

Yes. Part of the examinations required before IVF can be done at home, and you send us the results in advance. This saves time: you come to Georgia after part of the workup and preparation has already been completed.

What is the difference between IVF and ICSI?

In classic IVF the sperm and the oocyte are placed together in a laboratory dish and fertilization happens on its own. In ICSI the embryologist injects a single sperm cell directly into the oocyte. In all our programs fertilization is performed by ICSI — the most widely used method today — and it is included in the program price.

How many embryos are transferred?

Usually one; sometimes two, depending on age and embryo quality. The decision is made by the doctor together with the patient. The remaining embryos are frozen.

When will I know if I am pregnant?

A blood pregnancy test is done about two weeks after the transfer. The next step — an additional transfer (€1,500) or another program — is decided together after the result.

Which medication will I receive and how much does it cost?

Ovarian stimulation uses gonadotropins (FSH and LH) for about ten days. In the comprehensive program (€7,500) the medication and pre-stimulation tests are included; in the basic program (€4,000) you can buy them at home.
