IVF cost at GI Rimon: full transparency
At GI Rimon the cost of IVF with ICSI ranges from €4,000 to €7,500, depending on the package. The cost depends mainly on the type of program: whether it includes the hormonal medication and the tests required before stimulation, or whether the patient arranges them separately.
We offer two main options:
- the basic program, without medication and pre-stimulation tests — €4,000;
- the comprehensive program, with all the required medication and tests — €7,500.
The cost of the IVF procedure from start to finish covers the main medical stages: ovarian stimulation with ultrasound monitoring, egg retrieval under short anesthesia, fertilization in the laboratory by ICSI, embryo culture to the blastocyst stage and one embryo transfer. Each additional transfer costs €1,500, and genetic testing of the embryos (PGD with NGS) costs €500.
The final price may vary by up to 10%, depending on the complexity of the case and any additional tests required. The full price list of all our programs, including programs with donor eggs, donor sperm and donor embryos, is on the price list page.
What’s included
What our IVF treatment program includes
Our IVF program covers the main stages: ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, fertilization in the laboratory and embryo transfer. Throughout the process every patient receives personal support from our medical team in English or Hebrew.
The cycle begins with ovarian stimulation using hormonal medication, with regular ultrasound monitoring of the number and growth of the follicles. After egg retrieval under short anesthesia, we fertilize the eggs in the laboratory by ICSI. The embryos are cultured for five to six days under controlled conditions, after which an embryo can be transferred to the uterus; the number of embryos to transfer is decided by the doctor together with the patient.
Our program includes:
- medical consultation and an individual protocol;
- ovarian stimulation and ultrasound monitoring;
- egg retrieval under short anesthesia;
- fertilization by ICSI;
- embryo culture to day 5–6;
- one embryo transfer;
- medical guidance in English and Hebrew throughout the cycle.
Medication and pre-stimulation tests are included only in the comprehensive program, and in any case the medication can also be bought in your home country. Embryos remaining after the transfer can be frozen, as described on the embryo freezing page.
In detail
The IVF procedure: stages and protocol in detail
The IVF procedure in Georgia at GI Rimon starts with preliminary tests and requires a stay of about three weeks on average. We adapt the protocol to each couple according to the woman’s age and general health; it includes ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, fertilization in the laboratory and embryo transfer. Our IVF method combines advanced technology with personal monitoring at every stage.
-
Preliminary tests.
Hormone tests (FSH, LH, AMH, estradiol), ultrasound of the ovaries and uterus and a semen analysis. Part of the tests can be done at home, and you send us the results.
-
Ovarian stimulation.
Gonadotropins (FSH and LH) for about ten days on average, monitored by blood tests and ultrasound to follow the maturation of the follicles and adjust the medication dose.
-
Egg retrieval.
When the follicles reach the right size, we perform the retrieval under short anesthesia, a procedure of 20–30 minutes.
-
Fertilization in the laboratory.
Immediately after retrieval the eggs are fertilized by our embryologists by ICSI, in which a single sperm cell is injected into the egg.
-
Embryo culture.
The embryos grow under controlled conditions to the blastocyst stage, five to six days.
-
Embryo transfer.
The embryo is transferred to the uterus in a short procedure without anesthesia, sometimes two embryos; the number depends on age and embryo quality. The first transfer is included in the program price.
