We are a licensed medical clinic, not an intermediary agency, so the price you see is the price of a complete program: the medical procedures, the services of the surrogate mother, medical monitoring during pregnancy and the legal support for registering the child in the intended parents’ names. Possible extras — genetic testing, an additional transfer, twins or a caesarean section — are listed on this page in advance.

Many couples from Israel, Europe and the United States ask us first how much surrogacy abroad costs and what to check before paying. That is why this page brings together the full price list, an explanation of what is included and what is paid separately, and the difference between surrogacy in Georgia and surrogacy in Armenia. The procedure itself — the law, the selection of the surrogate mother and the stages of the program — is described on the surrogacy in Georgia page.

The programme

What the price includes and what is paid separately

Included in the program price:

  • the medical procedures: in vitro fertilization with ICSI, embryo culture in our laboratory and the transfers according to the program;
  • the services of a surrogate mother from our pool, including her screening and hormonal preparation;
  • medical monitoring throughout the pregnancy;
  • the NIPT test during pregnancy;
  • legal support: the surrogacy contract and the registration of the child in the intended parents’ names.

Paid separately:

Extra Price (€) Paid to
Additional transfer beyond the program 1,500 the clinic
Genetic testing of embryos (PGD with NGS) 500 the clinic
Twin pregnancy 5,000 directly to the surrogate mother
Caesarean section 1,000 directly to the surrogate mother

Flights, accommodation in Batumi and the notarized translations of your documents are not part of the program price. The payment stages, the terms of the delivery at the maternity hospital and the arrangements after the birth are explained at the consultation and fixed in the contract before the program starts, so there are no surprises later.

Good to know

What makes up the cost of surrogacy

For many parents the most important question is why one program costs €50,000 and another €65,000. The price depends mainly on four factors:

  1. The source of the embryos.

    Your own frozen embryos (€50,000) cost less than a program with fresh egg retrieval (€56,000), because no stimulation and retrieval are needed. Egg donation or donor sperm adds the cost of the donor: €57,000–59,000.

  2. The scope of the commitment.

    The standard programs include up to three transfers; in the guaranteed program (€65,000) we continue until the birth of the child, with no payment for additional transfers.

  3. The country.

    Surrogacy in Georgia is available only to heterosexual couples; for single parents and same-sex couples the program takes place in Armenia, at a higher price.

  4. Medical extras.

    PGD, an additional transfer, twins and a caesarean section are paid separately, according to the table above.

If you have frozen embryos at a clinic in your home country, we check at the consultation whether they can be transferred to us so that you start directly with program 2S.

At the clinic

Surrogacy at home versus surrogacy abroad: what affects the cost and the time

In many countries surrogacy is either prohibited, restricted to altruistic arrangements or subject to a long approval process — in Israel, for example, every arrangement needs the approval of a statutory committee, and the whole process from approval to birth takes a long time; for many couples this is the main reason to go abroad. Surrogacy abroad, and surrogacy in Georgia in particular, is built differently: the contract with the surrogate mother is signed directly, and at our clinic the first transfer usually takes place within three months of your first contact.

Another difference is the registration. In Georgia the intended parents are listed on the birth certificate as the parents, the surrogate mother and the donors are not mentioned, and the registration takes one day without a court decision. The next step — the child’s documents at your embassy or consulate — is explained at the consultation.

Distance affects the budget too: Batumi is a short flight from most European cities, so visits to the surrogate mother during pregnancy do not require large travel expenses. We report on the progress regularly, in English and Hebrew, and at every stage you have one contact person at the clinic — for every question, medical or legal.

Who it suits

Who can start a surrogacy program in Georgia

Under Article 143 of the Law of Georgia on Health Care (1997), surrogacy is permitted for heterosexual couples — married or living together for at least one year — with a medical indication: the absence of the uterus, repeated IVF failures, a medical condition in which pregnancy is dangerous for the woman and others. Single men, single women and same-sex couples are not eligible for surrogacy in Georgia, and for them we open a program in Armenia. The information is correct as of September 2026; the legislation may change, and we update this page.

Before we present a final quote, we check your eligibility under the law and the medical situation of both partners — including the need for egg donation or donor sperm. Part of the tests can be done at home, and we review the results together at the first consultation.

The process

How the surrogacy process works at our clinic

  1. Consultation and eligibility check

    A meeting with the fertility doctor, a review of your documents and the medical indication.

  2. Matching a surrogate mother

    All our surrogates are screened at the clinic before they join the program; how we select them is described on the find a surrogate mother page.

  3. Contract and first payment

    The legal agreement between the intended parents, the surrogate mother and the clinic; the contract defines what is paid to the clinic and what to the surrogate, and at which stages.

  4. IVF and embryo transfer

    Egg retrieval or thawing of the embryos, culture in the laboratory and transfer to the surrogate’s uterus.

  5. Pregnancy and birth

    Medical monitoring throughout the pregnancy, delivery at a maternity hospital in Georgia and registration of the child in your names within one day. After the birth we explain to the parents how to arrange the child’s documents at their consulate before returning home.
