Instructions for visiting gynecologist
To get the most complete picture of your health, we recommend supplementing your visit with the following tests:
Ultrasound of the pelvic organs allows you to assess the condition of the uterus, ovaries, and endometrium.
Ultrasound of the mammary glands is needed up to 40 years (at an older age, mammography).
Complete blood count – helps to identify signs of anemia, inflammation, and other conditions. Especially important with heavy and/or prolonged periods.
Colposcopy – a detailed examination of the cervix under magnification to detect precancerous changes.
PAP test (cytological examination) – allows you to detect precancerous cells in time and prevent cervical cancer.
The optimal time for a visit is days 5-9 of the menstrual cycle.
We remind you how to count the days of the cycle: the first day of the period is the day when menstruation began.
Don’t put off taking care of your health! Every minute counts.
